Student Union / Students' Council

The Student Union / Students' Council of Indraprastha Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT), Saharanpur provides a platform for students to participate actively in the academic, cultural, social and co-curricular life of the Institute.

The Council encourages leadership, teamwork, discipline, communication and a sense of responsibility among students. It also facilitates constructive interaction between students, faculty members and the Institute administration.

The constitution and composition of the Students' Council may be determined by the Institute according to applicable institutional and university guidelines.

FACULTY GUIDANCE

Faculty Coordinator

Provides guidance and coordinates Student Council activities with the Institute administration.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP

President

Represents the Students' Council and coordinates student activities.

Vice President

Supports the President and assists in coordination of Council activities.

Secretary

Assists in communication, meetings, documentation and activity coordination.

Joint Secretary

Supports Council documentation and coordination of student initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Student Union

Encourage participation of students in academic, cultural, sports and co-curricular activities.

Facilitate constructive communication between students and the Institute.
